Deborah Kirklin is a Bay Area-based painter who focuses on light and color in painterly still lifes, landscapes, and collages investigating the tensions between realism and abstraction. The artist counts Fairfield Porter and Richard Diebenkorn among her greatest influences. The artist exhibited at Hackett-Freedman Gallery in San Francisco, and recently exhibited collages at George Billis Gallery in Los Angeles.
