Ginger Levant is a New York City based artist who sometimes approaches still life from a purely optical, formalist point of view, and sometimes as the subjective experience of visually expressive, everyday objects. A sense of fleeting light and rhythmic spatial intervals energizes and informs her still life painting. She currently shows at Kerygma Gallery in New Jersey, and Callen Mcjunkin Gallery in West Virginia.
